What payment methods does Hey Chickadee accept?

We accept the following payment methods:

AmericanExpress Discover E-checks

All prices are displayed in US Dollars. For different currencies, your credit card company will calculate the exchange rate automatically. 

What is Hey Chickadee's refund policy?

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different payment method other than what was originally used for your order.

Once a refund has been issued on our end, your credit/debit card provider needs around 1 to 7 business days to process the refund, but can occasionally take longer. The refund processing time is determined entirely by your credit/debit card provider.

Shipping charges will only be refunded if:

  • A product was damaged, incorrect, or missing from an order and is refunded, and its weight affects the original shipping cost.
  • If you purchased USPS Priority Mail Express (USA), and your order does not arrive by the scheduled delivery date listed on the USPS tracking page. Contact us to request a refund for the shipping charges. This is the only shipping method with a money-back guarantee (for the postage cost only).

Will I have to pay import taxes or customs fees?

If your package is shipping outside of the USA, it may be subject to import taxes or customs fees.

Hey Chickadee cannot control and is not responsible for any customs fees that your government may charge you for importing goods. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to pay these fees. 

We are required by law to declare all items at their actual price. We cannot mark packages as “gifts" or mark down the value of the product to evade customs charges.

Please note that on occasion, customs may delay delivery. If you have any questions regarding the customs policies of your country, you must contact your local customs office directly.

How much will shipping cost?

To determine the shipping cost for your order, add any items you want to purchase to your cart, and then using the shipping calculator provided at the bottom of the cart page!

Shipping fees are determined by the total weight of your order and your location. Rates are calculated by the USPS, not by us.

Orders shipping outside the United States may be subject to customs fees; these are separate fees determined by the destination country, and are not included in the shipping cost.

Do you offer options for orders shipping as gifts?

If your order is being sent as a gift for someone, and is shipping within the USA, we can exclude the packing slip from the package. You can let us know by leaving a note in the cart page before checkout by clicking "add note", or give us a heads up via email before your order is shipped.

We do not offer gift wrapping, personal gift messages, or gift receipts at this time.

Orders shipping outside the USA cannot be sent as a gift.

Can you ship an international order as a gift without the price included?

Unfortunately we cannot send international orders as gifts. We are required by law to declare the full value and contents of your order directly on the package, so there is no way for us to exclude or hide the price of the items. The contents of the package must be marked as merchandise. 

It is the sole responsibility of the recipient to pay customs fees and any applicable import taxes. If you have any questions regarding the customs policies of your country, you must contact your local customs office, as the laws can vary from country to country.

What about my privacy/security?

Hey Chickadee does not store full credit card information, and all transactions are secure and encrypted. For additional information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.  

Does Hey Chickadee do coupons, sales, and other promotions?

We have sales and promotions on select items and collections from time to time!

Valid discount codes can be entered at checkout. Only one discount code can be used per order. Discount codes must be entered at the time of purchase, and cannot be applied to orders retroactively.

Any discount/coupon codes or gift cards applied at checkout will reduce the grand total owed for the individual purchase. The original retail value listed for products purchased will be displayed on any packing slips or customs forms when shipped, regardless of any discounts applied at checkout.
